Maisha Kelly was named Drexel’s Director for Athletics on June 16, 2021. She was previously Bucknell University's Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator.

She has served on multiple NCAA commitees including the Division I Council, Division I Women’s Basketball Oversight Committee, Division I Nominating Committee, and Division I Track and Field Committee.

Prior to Bucknell, Kelly worked at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis as an Assistant Director of Championships. She also has held student development positions at Rutgers University, Vanderbilt University and Saint Joseph's University. 

Kelly is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, where she captained the track and field team and earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. She later spent three seasons as an assistant track and field coach at Saint Joseph’s while also teaching at the Waldron Mercy Academy in Merion, Pa. She received her master’s of education degree in sport and recreation administration from Temple University.

Kelly is a member of the Women Leaders in College Sports and a graduate of their Executive Institute. She's also a graduate of the NCAA Leadership Institute for Ethnic and Minority Females and the NCAA Pathway Program.
