Meredith McCall joined Utah Athletics in January of 2022 as the Director of Football Academics. She is the first female to serve in this role since the position was created in 2010.

The Cheyenne, WY native came to Utah after a three-year stint at The University of California, Berkeley where she helped the Athletic Study Center (ASC) football staff record all-time highs in team GPA (3.119), while also assisting four Olympic Sports earn their highest team GPA (Field Hockey- 3.569, W. Gymnastics-3.334, Softball-3.247, and M. Gymnastics-3.433). During her time at Cal, her teams received the Most Improved GPA award (Football x 2 and Softball). Prior to moving to Berkeley, she also worked at Old Dominion University, Western Carolina, and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

She earned her undergraduate degree (Business Management) from the College of St Scholastica (Duluth, MN) and her Masters degree (Athletic Administration) from Texas A&M Kingsville.

McCall currently belongs to the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and served as the Chair of the National Convention Working Group from 2020 through 2022. Most recently she has been selected to join the Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large in June 2022.
