Kendra Warren is director of operations for cross country and track & field at University of South Carolina. 

A former world-class athlete, she's an ACC record-holder and track and field coach with more than 25 years of experience in athlete development. She was director of operations at UNC Chapel Hill from 2005-07 and in 2012. She also served as a high school director of athletics and director of student affairs and admissions. From 2015-2019, she was director of programs at Orange County Sportsplex. 

As a student-athlete, Warren was an eight-time All-American at UNC Chapel Hill. She graduated in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and was added to the Tar Heels’ Track and Field Hall of Honors in 2008. She was named to the ACC’s 50th Anniversary Team (All Sports) after she won 13 ACC Championships in various sprint events. A member of the inaugural class of the South Carolina York County Hall of Fame, she was a finalist in the 400m at the 1992 U.S. Olympic Trials and a member of the 1995 Pan American Games 4x400m relay team.

Warren holds the Tar Heels record in the 100m and competed in the 1988 Olympic Trials in multiple events.

She was head women's track and field coach at VCU and assistant track and field coach at UNC and Emory.
