Ericia Turner is Executive Director of Athletics for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. She attended UNC Chapel Hill on a full basketball scholarship and later transferred to NC A&T University, where she graduated with a BS in Physical Education and a MS in Physical Education. She continued her education at Gardner Webb University and received a degree in School Administration. Most recently, she obtained her Ed.S from UNC Greensboro and is currently enrolled in the university's Ed.D program.

Before becoming an administrator, Ericia taught health and physical education in the Winston Salem/Forsyth County and Charlotte Mecklenburg School Systems. She also coached Basketball, Football (Wide Receivers Coach), Track, Volleyball, and Softball. In 2009, she accepted the position of Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Newton Conover High School. She later became Director of Athletics for the Alamance Burlington School System and served as a principal in the Iredell Statesville School System and at Rocky River High School.

Ericia resides in Sherrills Ford, NC with her two children: Jerron and Trevion. She attends Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hickory, NC, where she serves as an Associate Minister, Christian Education Director, and Ministry leader for the church's Kings and Queens and Youth Ministries.
