Kyetta May is Assistant Director and Learning Specialist for the Towson University Athletic Department. Previously, she was Head Coach for Women's Volleyball at Coppin State. She held a similar position at University of Arkansas Pine Bluff and Kentucky State University (KSU). 

At KSU, she led the volleyball program to back-to-back Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) championships in 2010 and 2011. She was named conference coach-of-the-year three times, in 2008, 2010 and 2011.

Before her time at KSU, May was an Educational Advisor for Educational Talent Search at Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis from 2004-07. She spent two seasons as the Head Volleyball Coach at Harris-Stowe from 2004-06. While working in St. Louis, she spent a season as the Girls Volleyball Coach at Clayton High School.

As a college player at Alabama A&M University, under legendary coach Betty Austin, May helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to a pair of SWAC championships (2000 and 2001). The Dean's List scholar-athlete was tabbed Lady Speedstick Sportswoman-of-the-Year and received the Street & Smith Eddie Robinson Award in 2000. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a minor in chemistry. She later earned her M.A. in Education from Lindenwood University.
