Charlie Ball-Burrell is Assoc. AD for Academics at University of South Carolina (USC). She was previously at University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) as Asst. AD for Academic Enrichment. 

At USC, Ball-Burrell oversees the athletics academic support program and staff. She works closely with campus partners, reports regularly to the University Provost, and serves on several committees. In her first year at USC, the Gamecocks
had a 94% graduation rate.

Ball-Burrell earned a B.S. in Physical Education from Mississippi State University (MSU) and a M.A. in Higher Education and Student Personnel from Ole Miss, where she is also pursuing a doctoral degree in higher education.

Ball-Burrell was a graduate assistant at the Walter Payton Wellness and Recreation Center at Jackson State University. At Ole Miss, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the academic enrichment unit along with several other programs and areas. She was named Ole Miss's 2018-2019 Overall Outstanding Staff Member.

An active member of Women Leaders in Sports, N4A and MOAA, Ball-Burrell is also a participant of IAA East 2019 and 2022 Leadership Enhancement Institute (LEI) through Women Leaders in Sports. She will be a participant of CALS 2023 and a participant of the 2023-2024 PAL program USC.
