Dr. Kanika Richardson is a distinguished leader in athletics and academia, with a wealth of experience in community building, athletic programming, and student support. Over her two-decade career, she has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and advocacy, enhancing student-athlete performance, promoting educational equity, and fostering inclusivity.

With a proven track record of success, she has overseen athletic departments in Georgia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, impacting the lives of over 2,000 student-athletes across 40 men's and women's sports. In her role, she has spearheaded initiatives to ensure academic success, Title IX compliance, and the expansion of resources for student-athletes and coaches.

In addition to her athletic expertise, Dr. Richardson has served in various capacities, including as a recreational coordinator, Physical and Health Education Specialist, and youth sports consultant. Currently serving as the Director of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, she is dedicated to fostering a vibrant athletic culture and building strong community relationships.

Dr. Richardson holds a B.S. in Physical Education from Morgan State University, a M.S. in Exercise Science from Georgia State University, and a Doctorate in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy.
