Interview with Upcoming Artist- Sonny Rose

Sonny Rose found an interest in tattooing at the young age of 14, he found that this has open doors to making him a people person. Drawing inspiration from his client’s story-telling about their struggles only made it easier for him to write. Sonny Rose was the first African American to own a fully licensed tattoo shop in the entire state of Oklahoma, that single accomplishment was enough for him to put down his tattoo machine, and pick up the microphone. Sonny said, “When I’m passionate about something, I go for it until I’ve accomplished it.” Sonny Rose release his first single “Only If You Let Me” (June 2013). His first mixtape was called “Bricktown Famous” which was released only in his hometown of OKC (December 2011). He then released his first EP “Shotguns & Black Roses” in (May 2016). which was released on all the digital music platform sites.
