Church folks have a way of getting stuck in technical theological jargon, with terms like "justification," "righteousness," "imputation," and "redemption." No wonder we have a hard time knowing whether it is good news or bad news to talk about "the righteousness of God" or even "God's justice."  A lot of folks over the centuries have heard the Bible's talk about "the justice of God" and been afraid, assuming it meant only that God is looking to zap people for infractions against "The Rules." But maybe we've had it upside-down and backwards all along!  The apostle Paul talks about the "justice of God" and sees it as good news, because he understood it as God's work to put us back in right relationship and to mend all that is broken in the universe, from our relationship with God to our relationships with each other and to our relationships with all of creation.  So in this latest episode, pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve keep looking at what "justice" means throughout the Bible, and how it might be a word of unexpected good news!  Check it out here!
