As they continuing looking at how to "do" justice (and not just to study Bible verses "about" justice), pastors Sarah, Erica, and Steve explore some of the ways the Torah and other parts of the Old Testament speak to justice in our economics and finances.  As they look at concepts like jubilee--with its cancellations of debts, freeing of slaves and indentured servanthood contracts, and restoration of land--and laws about leaving produce in the fields for those without land of their own, they'll explore what it could mean to live by these principles in our lives, today.  They'll also consider some of the ways 21st century American culture and life are different from an agrarian society like in ancient Israel, and what that might mean for how we apply principles of debt forgiveness and personal economics, too.  We'll also take a look at how our faith might lead us to make different choices with our dollars, too--from buying from small businesses even when it costs a little more, to how we tip servers.  The conversation ranges from the big picture to the every day, and we invite you to join us for this round of "Crazy Faith Talk"!
