When people talk about their "spiritual gifts," it can sometimes sound like astrology signs or personality types, or just a religious-sounding way of talking about talents.  But when the biblical writers like Paul talk about spiritual gifts, they see something given by God to one person for the sake of the whole community.  There is a beautiful diversity of gifts, but they also exist for the benefit of all.  And even if I can't see how your gift contributes yet, or how it meshes with mine, from God's vantage point, there is beauty and goodness in all of them.  Today in our series on spiritual gifts, pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve look at one of the biblical passages most frequently explored on the subject--Paul's writing on gifts of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12.  And as the conversation weaves its way through trombone solos and Bette Midler songs, we'll discover that our gifts are meant to be used for the sake of all... and that makes all the difference. Join us for this week's Crazy Faith Talk conversation!
