Over and over again in the Scriptures, we discover stories of God's enduring faithfulness and love even in the face of faithless people who flake out.  It's God's repeated mercy on the wayward ancient Israelites.  It's God's unconditional love for Abraham and Sarah, and even scheming Jacob, despite their failures and doubts.  It's the generous father running out to meet the lost son while he's a long way off.  It's Jesus restoring Simon Peter, even after the disciple had denied knowing Jesus on the night of his arrest.  And it's Saint Paul insisting that "nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus."  So it's no surprise that there are classic hymns that bring this enduring love of God to the fore.  And in this episode of Crazy Faith Talk, as pastors Sarah, Erica, and Steve continue exploring well-known hymns and their rooting in the Scriptures, we turn to a beautiful text called "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go." We invite you to listen in to the conversation and explore both this hymn text and the recurring promise of the Scriptures that God's love holds onto us... no matter what.
