Denise Broadwater is a debut author with her first memoir released in October 2019 and remaining in the top 100 Best Sellers under the Home Design category .  She’s had many careers in her life including stay-at-home mom to three children, elementary teacher, and in mid-life began her life calling as a professional counselor.  She started as an MST Therapist for at-risk youth doing family therapy, but for the past ten years has practiced as a private psychotherapist in Charleston, SC.  Five years ago she began to write her mother's life story and her personal memoir when she was picked up by a professional writing coach/editor.  This past year, she added published author to her resume.  In her debut marriage memoir, Denise shares her humorous, heartfelt story renovating an historical Charleston cottage in the downtown.
