As we continue to celebrate Financial Literacy Month we are proud to welcome as guests Mr. Alan Spivey and Mr Lionel Shipman.  During this program these financial experts will cover a wide range of topics including the importance of developing a good relationship with your bank and how to accomplish that.  Also, how to avoid costly mistakes in using credit and managing debt.  In addition, we will discuss mortgages and foreclosures for homeowners and those interested in purchasing a house, and what assistance is available to those who are facing the threat of foreclosure on their home.

Mr. Spivey is the Founder & CEO of Social and Sustainable Community Development Fund, which is a revolutionary system that was created as a result of the recent foreclosure crisis.  Mr. Spivey's organization works with homeowners who have been foreclosed, or who are at-risk of being foreclosed, and offers principal reductions in addition to one-on-one financial education to protect them from displacement.

Mr. Shipman has worked in the banking and financial services industry for over 20 years. He is the owner of Shipman Consulting, a financial and life empowerment company specializing in educating, motivating and empowering people in the areas of finance, business, and life skills.

Join us to learn more about banking, managing and protecting credit, eliminating debt, and assistance for those at risk of foreclosure.
