Black Motherhood Empowerment - It's Time. This series covers the history of black motherhood, relationships and the empowerment of successful black motherhood in raising black sons. Our black sons are lost to the system of failed education and incarceration. It is time to take preventative actions to successfully avoid loosing our black sons to the system. Too many times the black mother is told she cannot raise her black son, too many times the black mother is being blamed for her black son's failure, for the father not being in the home. This systemtic oppression is deadly to both mother and son. In this first of a three part series - the history of black motherhood in the United States of America will be covered.
