CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH??? You will NOT find this information in a history textbook! Please join Denise Bolds, MSW and Wanda Ashford-Longshore as we discuss Ashford-Longshore’s book “Self Evident Truths: The More Things Refused to Change - The More They Remained The Same.” This book describes which truisms and falsehoods have prevailed throughout American history, and remain largely responsible for our Racism, Sexism our greed, our guilt, and our failed attempts at achieving equal rights. Self Evident Truths challenges our Religion and Patriotism by exposing those concepts and ideals which we have learned to believe, but which have never been true. This book traces the history of Racism and Sexism from 500 B.C. through the British Dynasties, to the Declaration of Independence, to contemporary American Society and makes sense of the inherent social/political/economic stratification of the United States, the embodiment of both Racism and Sexism. Wanda Ashford-Longshore was born in South Carolina in 1942 and is a Master’s Degree holding professional in Counseling Psychology and has completed all but her dissertation for her PhD in Educational Psychology. Self Evident Truths is Ashford-Longshore’s 4th book. http://wandalongshore.com/ GET READY TO BE EMPOWERED!!!
