We hear in the news so many negative incidents involving Black children in the American Education System. Everything from neglence, suspensions, to improper special education assigments, violence, sexual misconduct and of course blatant racism/discrimination.

According to statistics released by the U.S. Department of Education, as a whole, home-schooling grew from 1.7 percent of the school-age population in 1999 to 2.9 percent in 2007, a total of more than 2 million families. An estimated 220,000 of those students are African-American, according to The National Home Education Research Institute.

Will America ever master education reform that is equal, unbiased and empowering? Many Black families are now homeschooling their children with successful results.

Please join Denise bolds and special guest Nomalanga Mhlauli-Moses, founder of The Black Home School, an empowering and comprehensive resource for homeschooling Black children as the discussion of educating the Black child OUTSIDE of the traditional setting and the advantages.

Are YOU a parent of a child in school? Are you facing challenges? This show is for YOU! Get ready to be EMPOWERED!
