It's a year into the COVID-19 globla pandemic. Black maternal health is still at a crisis. Please join producer/host of Birth While Balck Denise Bolds and special guest Michele Gabriel-Caldwell as they talk out what is going on! 

Michelle is the owner of Baby, Please Birth Services located in NJ. She is a certified Doula and Childbirth Educator teaching the Bradley Method ®, Evidence Based Birth ® and her own Holistic Course expressly for The Birth Center of NJ of which she is the Doula Coordinator. She is also sits on the Advisory Board of The National Black Doula Association ™ (NBDA) and is also one of their Doula Instructors and Mentors. Michelle is a Poppy Seed Advocate as well. She holds over 15 years of experience in the birth industry; helping over 400 families navigate their birthing spaces, training and mentoring birth professionals while ensuring birth justice through state and national initiatives/sub committees, serving on Perinatal Health Equity Foundation Non-profit Advisory Board she creates workshops and breastfeeding support programs for her local community. An active panelist, enhancing the platform through blogs and podcasts,  Michelle empowers others by offering education, support, and advocacy.  She holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.
