Football season is upon us! And what better way to celebrate (or be pissed off at) football than to watch with us my favorite sports movie of all time- North Dallas Forty. Based on the novel by former Dallas Cowboys reciever Peter Gent, this film is a very vitrolic look at football in general. And since several of its charcters are based on real life Dallas Cowboy stars as Don Meredity and coach Tom Landry- this film (and novel) was sued by the NFL for defamation- and the NFL lost both times!
So maybe- if you hate football- this is the perfect movie for you!
