Meet Alyson Mead, Author

Alyson Mead has a new book called Searching for Sassy: An L.A. Phone Psychic's Tales of Life, Lust and Love. The book relates the humorous and moving story of Alyson's journey to accepting the phychic gifts she'd had since childhood, which came into focus when she went through  a bad breakup, moved across the country to Los Angeles, and began working a psychic hotline while trying to date again.

The Book was a finalist for this year's Indie Excellence Book Award, and Alyson won the Hay House Book-to-Screen Pitchfest in New York, which generated a lot in interest for the book and resulted in a deal the producers of USA Networks PSYCH to develop the book for television.  In addition to this book Alyson has written two other books.   Her website is http://www.sassypsychic.com/
