Joe Campell, known by his stage name "Sherlock Chrome" is an up and coming rapper from Mississippi. Born in Janurary of 1989 in Jackson, but rasied in Brookhaven, MS- Sherlock Chrome has overcome a lot of obstacles to get where he is today. With humble beginnings, he moved around often as a child and found refuge and peace in his music. He began writting around 11 yrs old, and haven't stopped since. Turning his life experiences and childhood struggles into his rhymes, he began to immerse himself into the studio to make his mark on the local music scene. Sherlock likes to be classifed as a songwriter and artist. He writes ALL of his own lyrics, and is very hands on when it come to recording, mastering and distrubution of his music. When featured on any tracks, he brings his "A" game, catchy smiles, and metaphors, leaving listeners entertained, intrigued and wanting more of what he has to offer. A versatile artist, Sherlock Chrome creates all genres of rap and hip-hop tracks including: trap, political, gangsta, and dance. His musical influences are the great late Tupac Shakur, Christopher "Biggie" Wallace, N.W.A, Bone Thug N Harmony, The Lost Boys, and more. Sherlock's first release was "24/7" Mixtape "Eat or Get Ate" with (E.O.G.A) Entertainment Company. He's been featured on several tracks by local artist, and is now preparing to release his 2nd Mix tape "Animal Manners" Falll of 2016.
