Steve Nijjar resides in Woodbridge, Toronto, Canada. As a child he only wanted to do two things in life; play professional soccer and to be a film producer/ actor. In his early soccer career, Steve was coached by the well renowned Dick Howard, former goalkeeper for the Mens' Canadian National Soccer Team and current television commentator for FIFA.After five years of training with Mr. Howard, Steve was sent to England and given the opportunity to try out with various division one clubs. After one year of playing soccer in England, Steve returned to Canada and signed a contract to play goalkeeper for the Toronto Blizzard Soccer Club. He spent three successful seasons as the club's number one keeper. In 1989, Steve left the Blizzard in order to pursue his love for film, specifically as both a producer and actor. He founded his own company, which directly lead to his first starring role in a feature length motion picture - "Final Goal", co-starring Erik Estrada. In addition, Steve served as producer on the film.He went on to produce two more feature length motion pictures; "Safety Zone" & "The Protector". All of his films have proved profitable throughout the world. Steve eventually ventured into owning his own professional soccer franchise; the Brampton Hitmen, part of the Canadian Professional Soccer League. In the club's inaugural season, Steve noticed the league was in dire need of publicity. He approached the league with an idea for a weekly soccer highlight show, which would go on to air on Rogers Cable for four years. Steve also created a documentary based on the Brampton Hitmen. The premise of the documentary was to grant the show's winner with the opportunity to play along side the Brampton Hitmen.
