A Dr. Mary Lee SPECIAL

TALKING ABOUT: STUFF WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT

  •  Community Development Financial Institutions – (CDFIs)
  •  Community Development Corporations – (CDCs)
  • Yearly HOME and EMERGENCY SERVICES GRANTS
  •  Yearly Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)
  •  Housing and Revitalization Departments – Nationwide Grants/Funding’s

If those in charge wanted the neighborhoods to have allocated $$$, improvements in Black blighted, low income neighborhoods would be realized long ago! It’s time for a change. Year after year the same old song and dance, the same old same old gets the funding yearly. They have it set up that way. There is not a Lack of Funds – It’s a Lack of Access. And only Black community collaborations can change it!
