Praise the Lord everybody! This is the day the Lord has made.  We will rejoice and be glad in it as we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.  Let us worship Him because He is Holy!

Welcome to New Directions Teaching Ministry, Sharing God's Word for Today.  God's servant, Dr. Loyce McCullough has been called to be His vessel  as the host, and teacher for this ministry.  She is the pastor and co-founder of New Directions Christian Fellowship, Stockton, CA.  Her husband, the late great Dr. Dorsey McCullough, was the founder.

We welcome all guests, listeners, and followers to this broadcast.  We also welcome your prayerful presence.

The subject for today's episode is, "Rest! Be Refreshed, not Stressed."  This subject is based on Matthew 11:28-30: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Please join us today for the hearing, reading, and commentary of the Word for today.  Please pray with us and  for us as we are commissioned to spread the Good News to as many people as possible.  In these perilous and evil days, the saints must put on the full armor of God each day.  We must use our time to fight with the fight of faith and gear up as soldiers of the cross of Jesus Christ.

Please bring your bibles, pen and paper and write down the scriptures that will be given.  Invite your family and friends.

You may send your comments, questions, and prayer request to mccullough.loyce@yahoo.com or a text to 209.922.4288. The call-in number is 323.642.1770.  COME ONE, COME ALL!
