Sharing God's Word for Today

Praise the Lord everybody! This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.  May we all enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.  Let us worship Him in spirit and and truth as we study the scriptures.

Welcome to New Direction's Teaching Ministry, Sharing God's Word for Today.  Our hope is that each guest, each listener, and that each follower will be blessed beyond measure.  Our goal is to encourage everyone to stay focused on the Jesus and His Word in these last of the last days.  The Lord could come any day now.  We want many to be ready when Jesus comes!

The title of today's episode is "Keeping Hope Alive and Strong".  We, as born-again believers in Jesus Christ, must never lose hope, even when we are going through many trials, temptations, challenges, worries, doubts, fears, etc.  We must keep our spiritual eyes on the Lord and His most holy,powerful, and living Word.  Psalm 71:14 says, But I will hope continually and will praise you, yet more and more.

I Peter 1:3-4:  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundantly mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 4) to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and does not fade away. reserved in heaven for you.

We must keep our hope alive if we are to please God.  According to the Concise Bible Dictionary, Hope is truthful expectation, particularly with referance to the fulfillment of God's promises.
