Sharing God's Word for Today

Praise the Lord, everybody, for this is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.  May we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.  Let us worship the Lord for His might and His power as we study the word today.

Welcome to New Directions' Teaching Ministry, "Sharing God's Word for Today".  The Lord has given this ministry to reconcile the world to hmself.  He wants to draw the world to himself.  He wants us all to be ready when He comes.  He is coming sooner than most people think.  May we have joy today as we seek His face through the study of the scriptures.  I am your host, Dr. Loyce McCullough, pastor of New Directions Christian Fellowship, Stockton, California.

The subject for today's episode is "The Authority of Born-Again Believers in Jesus Christ".   Jesus  toLd his disciples in Matthew 28:18  that all authority in heaven and on earth had been given to to Him. Now,  Jesus says in Luke 10:19 these words, Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
