PRAISE the LORD, everybody, for this is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.  May we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise, as we study the word of God.

Welcome to New Direction's teaching ministry, Sharing God's Word for Today.  All guests, listeners, and followers are welcome.  I am your host, Loyce McCullough, pastor of New Directions Christian Fellowship, Stockton, CA.  This ministry is designed to encourage all Christians and even those who are not to be encouraged to learn more about Christ.  Matthew 11:28-29  says, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest for your souls".

The theme for today is "Holy Spirit, I Need Your Help! Teach Me to be Brave and Not Fearful".  According to 2 Timothy 1:7, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind.  The devil is always giving us fearful thoughts, fearful movies, fearful things even in our daily news on television, newspapers, radio, etc.  But God gives us many reasons to fear not.  He speaks to us in His Word telling us to trust in Him in all things.  Many scriptures will be shared.

Please join us today as we explore God's Word on being unafraid, brave, and strong as we trust in Him.  You may invite your family and friends for the ministry.  The call-in number is 323.642.1770.  Join us each Tuesday and Thursdy at 9 am PST, 11 am CST, 12 noon EST.  You may also  go to your device and enter BlogTalkRadio/New Directions/Teaching Ministry.

Pray for us and with us as we enjoy the Presence of the Lord.
