Welcome to New Direction's Teaching Ministry, SHARING GOD'S WORD for TODAY!  All guests and listeners are truly appreciated and you are truly welcomed to this ministry.  I am your host, Loyce McCullough, pastor and co-founder of New Direction Christian Fellowship, Stockton, CA.

The topic of today's episode is,  "The Power and Privelege of Prayer".  We will study 5 biblical prayers:  The Lord's Prayer, the prayer of Jonah, the prayer of Jabez, one of the prayers of David, and the prayer and praise of Hannah.  Philippians 4:6-7 states the following, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto to God; 7) and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."  We are also admonished to pray without ceasing,
