SHARING GOD'S WORD FOR TODAY

PRAISE GOD from whom all blessings flow! To God be the glory and praise for all that He is doing on the earth!  Praise Him for healng bodies, saving souls, recueing the perishing, feeding the homeless, opening blind eyes, clothing the naked, physically and spiritually. Praise Him for He is worthy to be praised!

The subject for today's episode is "The Fulfillment of the Promise of Sending His Spirit, the Holy Ghost." One of the scriptures is taken from Joel 2:28-29 reading as follows: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids will I pour out my spirit.

We see the fulfillment of this prophecy in the book of Acts 2:1-4 when on the Day of Pentecost was fully come, the Holy Spirit came with tongues of fire that sat upon all 120 persons who had gathered in Jerusalem in the temple.

On this next  Pentecost Sunday, Christians around the world will celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  Many, around the world will experience this same blessing the Pentecostal season, which will last until Jesus comes.
