SHARING GOD'S WORD FOR TODAY

Praise the LORD,  everybody, for this is the day that He has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. May we all enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Let us worship Him in spirit and truth as we study His Word. 

We are so grateful for all those who are joining us today.  We thank God for all the guests, the listeners from, not only  the U.S., but also Nigeria, Curacao, United Kingdom and the Philippines.  We praise the Lord for all of the prayer warriors as well.

The subject for today's study is "Apostasy and How to Avoid this Falling Away from the Faith of God". We will do a line by line study on 2 Timothy 3:1-17.   This chapter starts out with these words: "This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come."  I think we can all agree about the times we are living in are filled with danger, peril, and fear.  But we will remember that with God and our praying together, we can hold out until the end.

1 Timothy 4:1 says, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and the doctrines of devils.

We must remember that Greater is God in us that he that is in the world.  We must also put on daily the full armor of God in order to win in this spiritual battle.
