Thien-Kim Lam is the founder of “I’m Not the Nanny,” where she writes about the crossroads of Asian, African American and southern culture in parenting and food. She shares not just personal stories on raising biracial children, but offers multicultural booklists, bilingual language resources and original recipes. She’s been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and The Washington Post and was a BlogHer Voices of the Year 2012 Keynote Speaker.
Thien-Kim is also founder of “Bawdy Bookworms,” a subscription box meets book club that pairs a steamy romance book with sensual bedroom accessories! “Bawdy Bookworms” allows her to empower women’s sexuality, both on the page and in the bedroom. She says the research and development part of her work isn’t a bad perk, either.
