Last night very late I was feeling the immense pressure that comes with knowing the truth and shutting it up inside.  As a result I decided to post a few status updates on Facebook.  The first one was immediately liked by someone who is in my prayers for very very serious circumstancrs and I was touched that my post about faith had any meaning to this person.  Then, after posting a couple of song links, I floated the idea of doing a radio show like I used to in the old days, and mkae it specifically for Facebook.  By the time I went to sleep there were 3 likes.  One was from a family member, which is a small vote of confidence to be sure...but the other 2 came from people who I respect and who have more to lose by liking my status updates than they do to gain...in this world....but the two men of God who liked it are more concerned with ecnouraging me and probably my well being this time of year...but beyond that, maybe they believe in me or my message...but just as great or greater would be that they believe the One who sent me, and that they believe I know Him.  That would be the greater flattery is a deference to our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.  He's the reason for the season, but He's also alive, and reigning from Heaven.  He is powerful and mighty, and lest we forget, He is not just a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths, but a fierce King whose garb glows blazingly white, unapproachable, and yet the ultimate love, drawing each to Himself powerfully, as if the person had never known love before until they met Him. He is the Alpha and the Omega.  The first and the last.  The author and the finsiher.  The creator of the Universe and all therein, and the keepr and maker of vast worlds yet waiting for us to explore. He is our Father, and our friend.  He is preeminent over all things.  It is to Him we look with our hearts and prayers. We serve the same God. He has set us free to serve Him.
