Special Guests: Charlotte Cherry and Alix Ainsley, Directors of Talent & Culture at Quilter plc.

Employee engagement is a critical lever to organisations, unlocking potential and increasing productivity. Smarter working can generate higher engagement and organisational loyalty. Job sharing as a form of smarter working is an undervalued working arrangement which can have significant benefits to the individual and the organisation. Job sharing generates additional discretionary effort and yields significant returns for organisations.  We would like to share our experience of ‘smarter working’ and its impact on employee engagement.

Charlotte Cherry & Alix Ainsley joined Quilter plc as Directors of Talent & Culture in October 2018. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing the talent, leadership, culture and engagement strategy across Quilter. Alix and Charlotte have been job sharing for the last 6 years, and have made a number of career moves together in this partnership.

Charlotte & Alix were recognised in the TimeWise Top 50 Power Part Timer list in 2017; the nomination recognised joint performance and contribution in leading and inspiring a team of 30 HR professionals whilst at Lloyds Banking Group.  As their first executive job share external hire, Lloyds benefited from increased levels of energy, passion and strategic thought from this form of smarter working.

Join us as we discuss an experience of ‘smarter working’ and its impact on employee engagement.
