ERN Presents TNT-Tribute To A Champion-The Legend Of Harley Race

Note: We have also reached out to Sam Houston, who has told a myriad of stories about himself, his brother Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Harley on our shows. As of yet we have not heard from him,we are hoping he will join us.

Last Wednesday afternoon the wrestling world was saddened with the anouncement that the legendary NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race had passed away after a courageous battle against cancer. Although his passing had been somewhat expected, especially after he had to be hospitalized on his way to a convention in Tennessee, the shock of getting the news was still very gut wrenching for all of us.

We are very fortunate to have our good friend Hugo Savinovich on tonight as he knew Harley very well. Harley truly was a World Champion as he defended the NWA title all over the world so he spent a lot of time in Puerto Rico with Hugo. Hugo was also with Harley when Jim Crockett produced the very first Starrcade event, and he will tell that story as well. Should there be time, we will discuss Lucha Libre AAA's annual big event Triplemania XXVII.
