On Sunday afternoon a voice that the public never really heard until later in his life was silenced. For years, Mississippi born James Harris played what would today be regarded as a stereotype, an African cannibalistic savage who, while he intimidated his opponents and the fans, didn't always seem to understand the rules of the sport he was competing in. While James was a soft spoken, gentle man who loved to laugh and sing, his alter ego, Kamala The Ugandan Savage, was an evil, silent brute who would demolish anyone who got in his way. We'll begin  this evening by remembering James, including commentary from Jerry Lawler about the creation of the character and George "The Animal" Steele talking about getting Kamala heat.

WWE Network has added several new promotions to their video vault that will begin airing this weekend. NXT saw the return of someone many people thought might not be coming back due to rumors surrounding him. Meanwhile, AEW saw a big star on the independent scene debut along with a former WWE talent, but not someone you might have expected. While New Japan Pro Wrestling has been making its slow climb back form COVID-19, a quirky little company has developed a cult following and is starting to draw some attention oustide of Japan. Steve recently saw a live video from the group and he will tell us about it. Speaking of New Japan, their US based show is bringing some top talent of their own, including someone many people thought had given up the business. MLW just signed a new distribution deal, Lana posted personal details about her and Miro on Instatgram  and apparently confirming a story about WrestleMania in San Diego. We'll discuss these and many other stories, including our alternate plans for those AEW weeks tonight.
