Join Billy “BJ” Jones on Sunday, October 11, 2020, from 7-8 p.m. EST, for BJ Speaks: A Conversation with Darriel “DC” Cannon and Fatcat.

DC is the founder and CEO of Cannonball Currency Music, LLC. With over 24 years of experience in the music industry, DC started as a rapper in CORE, which stands for “Comin’ Off Real Experience.” The group was signed to Big Kahuna Records, an independent label. Eventually, the group was rediscovered by Dadetown/Universal Records, a major record label. DC managed the label’s group, “Bottom of Da Map.”

One night, while DC was at the beach with his family, he took a small radio to entertain the group. The popular song “Panda” was playing. As the song faded, his son, artist Fatcat, started to freestyle “out of the blue.” From that point forward, DC helped Fatcat hone his talents and skills.

Today, Fatcat is performing in various venues across America.
