Phenomenally You

This Tuesday on the Phenomenally You Podcast I am discussing hair. Yes, hair. Women and their relationship with their hair is very complicated; especially black woman and men. As an attempt to assimilate into the dominate culture the appreciation for natural hair is looked down upon by many. There are still African America people today who question their peers who have chosen natural hairtsyles as their norms. Young and old have been denied employment and the opportunity to dance in a recital because their hair was not deemed sutitable. Just think, Califonia is the first state to pass a law that bans discrimiation based on one's natural hair (and this was in 2019...).
