What if someone was telling your employees: Just open up the laptops from your two different employers. Log into overlapping meetings and just stay on mute. Do just enough work for both but not too much. Just toggle between the two jobs so you don't attract attention. Don't get too attached, or too involved, make it, so you are only in the background and don't attract attention to yourself, take time off or sick days if you run into an overlapping scheduling conflict, block off focus time or quiet time (to make yourself unavailable) so you can do work for the other company, the end goal is that neither company finds out about the other company. Would you, as an owner of your business, feel like you are being lied to, misled or taken advantage of?
This has definitely been a growing trend that's gotten corporate America's attention, especially in the I.T. arena. It's become the COVID quarantine (work from home) loophole that is going to drive employers to call everyone back into the office. Thoughts?
