ATH: "Political Responsibility Is Inherent" Imam Mohammed Richmond, Va '98

"We have chosen to speak on political responsibility here in the great city of Richmond and that is  because I have some knowledge of the African-American professional class here and the leadership, African American leadership that has been with the city for many generations.  And having respect for your professionals and their interest in this city and in the future of this city is what caused me to select this topic, because I felt they would appreciate it. And hope they will appreciate it my prayer is that, our leaders, our African-American leaders will appreciate what I will be saying to you today.

I am a Muslim first and last, a believer in G-d who created everything, cares about all of us and a follower of Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah, the Prophet (pbuh)  of our Holy Book, the Book that is now read by 1.2 billion people on this earth and they are in every quarter of the world."
