Surah 87: 8

Sahih International: And We will ease you toward ease.

Pickthall: And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease.

Yusuf Ali: And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path).

Shakir: And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease.

Muhammad Sarwar: We shall make all your tasks easy.

Mohsin Khan: And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds).

Arberry: We shall ease thee unto the Easing.

What were the translator’s thinking and doing when they decided on their particular translation?
