Chapter 103. Asr

1. By (the Token of) time (through the Ages)

2. Verily Man is in loss

3. Except such as have Faith and do righteous deeds and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth and of Patience and Constancy.

History is also something that we try to make "come to past"; When your future "comes to past" it’s history;

So when we shape our future we make our history. 

When we set as goals those things that have long been unaccomplished and accomplish them we say “We made history" --- and that’s true on two levels
