For many secular human scientists, when they say Human Nature they are viewing Human Nature in a Non-Religious, Non-Theistic; Non-Ethical; Non-Moral; Non-Spiritual way.  They see the human being no more than a "Meat Machine"; a collection of Neurobiological, Electro-chemical Switches, Cogs, Springs and Levers (e.g., A Fine Swiss Watch), though made of flesh: a Machine none the less inside another system; The system of the universe which is just an enormous system of impersonal scientific laws.

Consequently, for some such secular human scientists any confirming of a real and actual "G'd" is superstitious and unnecessary.

As regards the Spiritual Religious side of Human Nature wherein G'd is Real (which some secular humanists and all atheists deny) versus the Neuro-biological, Electro-chemical reality of the Human Nature living in a universe of Laws, (which some secular humanists and all atheists affirm) THE TRUTH IS THAT IT IS NOT “EITHER/OR” IT'S “AND/BOTH”.
