ATH Imam W. D. Mohammed(ra): "It's Time for A Change"

"The Christian scholar that says, G'd believes in you.  Well many, many hundreds of years now, over 1400 years ago, the revelation came to Muhammad the prophet, Prayers and Peace be Upon Him, the Qur'an that is, the last of the revelations, the revealed books, and G'd, one of His names that is given in this book is that He is The Believer, God is the Believer.  Believer in Quranic language or in Arabic is this word Believer,  Mu'min.  Mu'min.  El Mu'min is G'ds name.  G'd is Al Mu'min, the Believer.  It has strong meaning of Trust.  Trust. Now if G'd is the one who created us, if G'd can't trust us, who can?  G'd trusts us.  That is what it means.  G'd is believer means that G'd trusts us.  He has faith in us, if we can put it that way.  Trusts us.   He lets us on our own, he lets us go on our own.  That is trusting us.  He gave us life, human life, intelligence, rational minds that have a great margin of freedom over all the other creatures He made.  And that is trust, he trusted us."  Imam W.
