30:8 “Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.”

[Speaking of the quranic term “Akhir”,] Imam Mohammed says, “So when we say, ”End”, for the religious sciences we mean this world, this universe, is a living organism. In the language of the philosopher, not in that language of the biologist, it was brought to birth and it is going to die. But it is also a revealing organism. It itself reveals and there will come a time when, ”the earth is going to behave as though she received a message from her Lord and has been inspired by her Lord.” This is Qur’an.  Therefore, it is also a revealing body, revealing organism. Man, thinking on this for generations, centuries and thousands of years has come to the purely scientific conclusion that this whole mass, this whole system of matter, is going to be lost one day. It is going to die. They believe that its energy will converge on itself and become so dense, or condensed that it will not be able to keep that conversion movement. It will not be able to continue. Then it will burst open, again and it will repeat itself.”
