The “twist” of this movies is that humans behave in the most inhuman manner and Apes Behavior is most noble manner. It depicts the “heroic humanity” of the Apes and the loss of “humanity” of the “humans”.

The prototype is called "A Noble Savage", "A Noble Savage" is a literary stock character who embodies the concept of the indigene, outsider, or "other" who has not been "corrupted" by civilization, and therefore symbolizes humanity's innate goodness.
