The theme of “Trial and Tribulation, Faith and Purification of Our Souls” continues with this verse. This verse draws our heart and mind to two stories

From the hadith “The Story of the Battle of Mutah” and the story from the Holy Qur’an of Saul’s/Talut’s army and David and Goliath.

Friday we addressed the Battle of Mutah Today with Allah’s permission we will convey the story from the Holy Qur’an of Saul’s/Talut’s army and David and Goliath in conjunction with this verse 3:143

But before going to another story that illustrates the main point we’re highlighting from this verse. I want to briefly address what we’ve been taught in Al-Islam about “Death”.

4:78 Sahih International: Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, "This is from Allah "; and if evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All [things] are from Allah." So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?
