“Your historical ideas should bear relation to reality” (00:23:50) [SHARED]

Ibn Khaldun’s observation/condemnation of the decline of civilizations after their rise is because their excessive appetite for “wealth, power and material things”. 

FS Note: Consequently, those who study Ibn Khaldun [and later Al-Ghazali and Ash-Shawkani] seeking to avoid such decline appeal/teach to a more ascetic interpretation of Al-Islam. (e.g., Sufism)

Economic principles of social impact were highlighted by Ibn Khaldun

Ibn Khaldun in his time declared that [Philosophically and conceptually] he is doing something completely new. For example, his perception of elevating the impact of the environment/socialization on human beings. [SHARED]

Also Ibn Khaldun was giving “new definition”[1] to terms [Assabiyah – “Tribalism” and Mulk – “Kingship”] that were negative in general understanding before his time in Al-Islam. Ibn Khaldun created new “Language, Logic and Sensitivity” for his time like Imam W. D. Mohammed did for his time. [e.g. Dunya] [SHARED]

According to Ibn Khaldun History was a revelation of the Laws and Patterns from Allah. [SHARED]
