"Our script is seen in the labels that we apply to ourselves (a professional, a businessman or woman, a teacher etc.).  With every label there is a relevant philosophy, ideology and behavior, that is our script.  So it’s important for us to become aware of our labels in order to become aware of our script and who wrote them.[1]

It is like a map in that all of our knowledge and memories of past experiences make mental maps which we depend on to assist us in navigating the demands of life.  If, however, our mental maps don't match the territory then it's going to get us into trouble.  As Mr. Campbell said in the quote above "the moral order has to catch up with the moral necessities of actual life in time here and now. And that is what it is not doing."   (Illustration "What The World Needs Now....";  "War's hit song “The World Is A Ghetto";  "Cloud 9")

[1] This is why and how the “movie makers” and “mass media” control the “subjectivity” of the masses. Through entrainment they prime them for their roles in “the objective world”. Semiotics
