"O mankind, be regardful of your Guardian Evolver, who createdyou{i.e., [Kum] – All existing human beings are being addressed, by Allah, about our “origin”} from ONE SOUL [A synonym for Fitrah – The original Masculine and Feminine Potential in one unitary pre-anatomical existence]and created from itits mate[The Male and Female Anatomy]and from the two of them {The Nature and The Form}spread many men and women. And be regardful of Allah, whom you mutually implore, and be regardful of the wombs. Indeed, Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.” HQ 4:1

Essentially, this verse is pointing to the origins of our human nature and the subsequent creation of our human bodies. It addresses the infusion of our nature into our human bodies. So, in reality (Haqq), our individuality and separateness are only “apparent.”  Our separateness from each other is only an illusion (ghurrur). As Allah says, “And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as a Single Soul (Nafsin Wahidatin).”[1]
