"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." Holy Qur'an 2:255

Mu’adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Learn Al-Ilm(knowledge), for learning it is a type of Khashyah(Fear) of Allah, seeking it is an act of worship, studying it is a type of Tasbih(glorification of Allah), searching for it is a Jihad, teaching it to those worthy of it is an act of drawing closer (to Allah).

“Now, the Qur’an says, “Who taught man what he was not before knowing”. So what is it saying?  It is saying man gets credit for the knowledge he has and shares with others and gives none of the credit to G_d. But he did not come to this knowledge without the help of G_d. He had to get G_d’s help to come into this knowledge. When he gets it and he separates G_d from the gift, he causes us to lose our good life. That is what has caused so many people to lose their good life, i.e., man thinking, ”Oh yeah, G_d created everything, but all of our benefits are because of man”. So you end up turning to man for everything and man has not connected the benefits with the G_d that made impossible for him.” P.77 “Education: A Sacred Matter”
